Metallic nail pearls, jewel nail pearls

So after brilliantly messing up the order of the days, I'm preparing the nail pearls to do the metallic nails today.  I had to actually think pretty hard about this one, because I don't really like metallic nail art.  Actually, you can see below that I only really have some. 

But, I decided to introduce these nail pearls based on elements for all nail lovers!  Initially, I was going to to do different nail art, but when I got some new nail pearls in SaraNail , I knew I had to do something with this. :D

 Just found out crown nail pearls which has made myself do this nail art, are a very beautiful! Check out crown nail pearls and diamond nail pearls, and metallic things as adornment. The detailing is exquisite!

Crocodile mani, Croc nail art

Hello Lovelies! Finally done crocodile nails! I have been wanting to do these for a while but I didn't have the right color that I wanted for this, but my lovely new polishes came last week and I think it looks really good :)

Lay down your base coat and allow it to dry 

 and start with the white polish applying 2 coats  

 Then apply purple color with one coat 

 Use a toothpick or dotting tool to draw the line with White color(I think using a dotting tool is much more comfortable to work quickly :D )

I applied my topcoat and here is the finished mani, Crocodile nails! I am very pleased with this mani, I think all the colors go well together!

homemade nails, Tree Nail art in Autumn 2013

Good morning, dear readers! :D

Today is Monday, and the theme for this week is Autumn! :)  I live in korea and so have already felt the beautiful Autumn, but now it is time for you! :D

I wanted a manicure that represented autumn, but wanted one that wasn't too autumn-y, since it is November and I always associate that with winter instead of fall  :)

So here are some bare trees who have lost their leaves. (the picture above)

This is the nail design I had on my nails. They're supposed to be autumn trees. :D They were really simple to do. First I just painted my nails turquoise, then, using a thin paint brush I painted the brown lines for the tree, and using a toothpick as a dotting tool. Simple as that. (the picture above)

Autumn in Korea with amazing colors, Korea in Autumn 2013

This autumn, leaves is changing colors. (it's November, right? :) ) A calendar of peak autumn foliage in Korea’s national parks are announced every year but my boyfriend and I don’t depend much on that announcement. The dates mentioned in that announcement is usually in periods of 2 to 3 weeks but the peak of autumn (in national parks) hardly falls within those periods. I’m not sure if it’s climate change to blame that makes this forecast inaccurate or the too much commercialized tourism industry. Anyhow, we still use the calendar but for a different purpose – not to fall victims of misinformation. <3

 I have seen pictures of beautiful autumn from pictures of my friends who had the opportunity to visit other countries. The colors of the trees and hills were amazing and breathtaking. Ever since then, I harbor this deep desire and hope that I would have an opportunity to experience autumn. :D

When I touched down in Seoul, the leaves was just about to change but most were still green, slowly turning yellow.(Now it's getting red) The time was not yet right. I was a little disappointed and I was worried that I would miss it as I would be traveling to Jeju Island next and then back to Seoul. 

 I didn't use any special effects on those pictures. I just used the landscape mode of my camera and the photo looked great. But I didn't go there to get great photos. I wanted to see something pleasing to my eyes. So despite the good photos, I was still not satisfied with the trip. I have this suspicion that leaves fall and dry too quickly. I don’t know. I could be wrong.

 I am not the only one mesmerized by the beauty of autumn. I caught this very talented man capturing the beauty of autumn, the way he sees it on his canvas, as I captured him in mine. He was not too happy when he found out but this remains one of my favorite shot. XD

Why don't you see leaves getting yellow and red?

Metallic pearl nail art, metallic stone nails

 For today's manicure I played around with the metallic nail pearls and hoped for the best because I wasn't sure if it would turn out!

Before I explain what I did differently, here is the picture of what I've done with the nail pearls! Next time I will post a nail tutorial on how you would typically do with them. I did it with a set of metallic nail pearls, and then again with a metallic color.

i actually like how the mani turned out but im not sure if it was worth the two hours...haha =P(even though it was so easy to make..) i will say that all of my pearls did make it through work today with me today, so that i like =)

anyway,  here's another angle of my nails below! next week, i'm gonna post up the tutorial on how to do metallic nails.
